(MITCHELL, IN) - The Mitchell Police Merit Commission will meet on July 12th at 3:00PM concerning former city police officer Steve Blair’s case.
The public meeting will be followed by an executive session in which the commission will discuss evidence presented on Blair's case.
The Mitchell Board of Public Work and Safety had previously voted to fire Blair after the city learned that Blair had secretly taped a conversation with Mitchell Mayor Dan Terrell during his employment with the city.
