(LINTON, IN) - Indiana Rail Road Company officials are investigating the Sunday night derailment of six loaded train cars.

According to Indiana Rail Road Company spokesman Chris Rund, around six of the 55 car train left the track leaving it heavily.

He doesn't believe that there is anything suspicion about the derailment, but still no definitive answers about what caused it.

An IRRC clean-up crew arrived on the scene about 10:00AM on Monday.

The Federal Railroad Authority has been notified of the derailment.
