(SEYMOUR, IN) - A 28-year-old Jackson County man has been found guilty of attempting to have sex with a minor.
Robert Francis Swengel received a 15-year prison term on July 6th.
Jackson Circuit Judge Bill Vance suspended three years of Swengel's 15-year prison term with Swengel receiving 133 days credit time for the time he has already spent in jail.
Police say that the man was arrested after soliciting sex from underage girls through text messages.
He currently remains in the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown pending transfer to state prison.
