(BEDFORD, IN) - Fire officials continued to investigate a Bedford house fire Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators from the Indiana State Fire Marshal's Office were called to the destroyed Middle Avenue House hours after the fire started.
Little information about the blaze has been released at this time other than the fact the no one was home when the fire started.
Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig says that detectives have not confirmed if the fire was arson.
He states that "if it is an arson case, we're fairly confident it's not related to the confirmed arsons in the Bartlettsville area."
