(HELTONVILLE, IN) - A 23-year-old Heltonville man was injured after crashing his vehicle in Heltonville.
Alejandro Cazares informed police at the scene that he swerved off of the road to avoid hitting two deer which ultimately caused the vehicle to overturn.
Cazares suffered scratches to his arm. Officers later determined that the man had been drinking.
Cazares was then booked into the Lawrence County Jail.
