(EVANSVILLE, IN) - A state trooper is recovering from minor injuries after being dragged 15 feet by a van while trying to arrest a man outside Casino Aztar in Evansville.
Police say Trooper Kylen Compton tried to arrest the male driver after spotting him drive over a concrete median and finding out that he was wanted for forgery.
Troopers caught the driver and a passenger after a traffic and foot chase.
The driver is facing several criminal charges, including battery on a police officer and drunken driving.
