(MITCHELL, IN) - The superintendent of Mitchell Community Schools has announced his retirement.
John Lantis joined the corporation in 1972 as a junior high school physical education and health teacher and his leaving his position after 40 years in education.
Lantis informed fellow board members on Monday that he would be retiring on December 31st and is looking forward to spending more time with his family.
