(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - 34-year-old Jamie Scott Weddle of Ellettsville has been sentenced to 70 years in prison for a brutal rape during which he broke his girlfriend’s thigh bone.
Jurors found Weddle guilty of three felonies stemming from the May 2009 incident.
Monroe Circuit Judge Marc Kellams also cited Weddle's lengthy criminal record in imposing the maximum sentence.
