Last updated on Wednesday, June 9, 2010

(BROWNSTOWN, IN) - A Jackson County man was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle car wreck.

52-year-old Kevin D. Otte of Brownstown was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck caused by massive trauma.

Preliminary investigations reveal that Otte was driving on County Road 100 East when he failed to stop at a stop sign.

His pickup was then struck by Anthony D. Temple as he crossed the intersection.

Temple complained of pain at the scene but refused medical treatment.

At this time, officers suspect that alcohol may have been involved in the wreck.
