(LINTON, IN) - A Linton man is facing several preliminary charges after leading police on a brief chase.
32-year-old William G. Ogden was arrested at around 3:30AM on June 6th on several charges related to resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, intimidation, reckless driving and operating a while intoxicated, among other charges.
Officers originally stopped Ogden for driving left of the center lane near the intersection of 1st Street and State Road 54.
Officers say that his pick-up truck accelerated to speeds between 65 to 70 mph in an attempt to flee from police in the 30 mph zone.
Ogden is scheduled to appear in Greene Superior Court on Friday for his initial hearing.
