(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A grandmother and grandson were killed in a Lake Monroe boat collision Monday evening.
51-year-old Susan Collier and 8-year-old Gage Pruett of Williams died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
James Collier, Susan's husband, suffered leg injuries.
Department of Natural Resources officials say that James Collier was operating the 19-foot boat with his wife and three grandchildren when their boat collided with a 23-foot boat being driven by 19-year-old Winston Wood of Bloomington.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Police say that alcohol was not a factor in the wreck.
