(UNDATED) - Flood warnings remain in effect for at least 24 Indiana counties until Wednesday.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the East Fork White River was slowly falling but reversed itself late in the day.

Officials say that the river is expected to continue rising today and Thursday.

The National Weather Service says that flood stage at Seymour is currently 12 feet.

The flooding is expected to cause extensive damage to corn and soybeans planted in low areas along the river.

At the Brown County State Park, high water was reported at the horseman's camp, and came up to the doorway of a camper who had called 911.

Water also washed out a water main that pumps water from the reservoir to the state park's water treatment plant.
