Man Jailed For Causing Deadly Car Wreck

(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - Jeff Adams won’t be illegally racing his car on Greene County highways anytime soon.

A Greene County judge placed him in jail until his sentence for the racing case at 9:00AM on June 9th.

Adams has been charged with not one, but three guilty verdicts for the crimes of aiding in reckless homicide, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, specifically his car and reckless driving.

Testimony during the trial centered on what happened before and after a fiery crash on State Road 43 in May of 2009 in which two people were killed.

Preston Williams and Jeff Adams have both been convicted of racing on the highway which caused the deadly wreck.
