(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Firefighters were called to a Monroe County property twice earlier this week to battle two different structure fires.
The first fire was reported at around 10:00PM Tuesday evening with the second occurring at 4:00AM Wednesday morning.
In the midst of the two fires, the owners of the property noticed a man attempting to steal one of their trucks.
The family then chased him down Highway 37 South and held him until police arrived.
According to police, 29-year-old Dominic A. Pisano was released from the Lawrence County Jail less than 24 hours before trying to make away with the truck.
The first fire began in an 80-year-old barn.
Fire crews were called back a short time later when the previous fire rekindled.
