(UNDATED, IN) - Beginning in April, field workers will begin gathering data for the upcoming statewide 2012 reassessment of property.
Fieldwork in Lawrence County will begin in the Town of Oolitic before moving on to other areas.
Data collectors will be reviewing and updating existing property record cards and will be documenting buildings which have been removed or destroyed on the property.
Data collectors will always carry identification on themselves and their vehicles to help property owners identify fraud.
