(FRENCH LICK, IN) - Two people were arrested Thursday for reportedly stealing metal items in French Lick.
According to a press release from the Orange County Sheriff's Department, 28-year-old Chad Flick and 18-year-old Tyler Allstott, both of French Lick, were arrested for theft.
Police say that a witness to the theft observed the two men steal the metal.
Using the description from the Orange County witness, Mitchell Police were able to identify the suspects at a Mitchell recycling center.
Orange County Sheriff Richard Dixon says that "with scrap metal prices on the rise, we are seeing more of this type of crime."
Police are always asking residents to report any suspicious activity they may notice.
