Superintendent To Keep His Job Following DUI Charge

(MARTINSVILLE, IN) - The Martinsville School Superintendent will keep his job after admitting to driving a school-owned vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

The school board decided that Dr. Ron Furniss will be suspended for five days without pay, have no use of his vehicle for 60 days and enter a rehab center.

Furniss was speeding and registered over twice the legal limit when he was arrested by a Morgan County Sheriff's Deputy.
