(SEYMOUR) - A 20-year-old Seymour man accused of molesting the 3-year-old child of family friends has been arrested.
He spent the night with some friends at a motel, police said of the incident that led to the arrest of Scott Walker on a Class C felony charge of child molesting.
Police said the friends live in Morgan County and Walker decided to spend a night with them at a motel and at some point during the evening, the friends left Walker in care of their 3-year-old and 5-year-old children.
On Friday, the couple found indications the 3-year-old had been molested and walker gave a partial admission of guilt to the family at that time.
The child later told police what happened and Walker later admitted while being interviewed that he had molested the child.
Walker was booked into the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown on $10,000 bond.
