(OWENSBURG, IN) - An overturned semi blocked traffic on a Greene County highway Monday afternoon near the Owensburg area.
Several miles of Highway 45 near the junction of Highway 45 and Highway 54 were closed down.
Police say that the semi truck was carrying used automobile batteries and crashed into a group of utility poles which also broke off a gas meter.
One lane of the highway was opened up on Monday evening.
Repairs to the highway continue due to damage made during the wreck.
The Greene County Sheriff's Department was not able to estimate when both lanes would reopen.
