(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - Greene County police are investigating an early afternoon crash that sent one Bloomfield woman to the Bloomington Hospital.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the wreck occurred on State Road 445, just east of State Road 54.
19-year-old Caitlyn N. Frye, who was riding a bicycle, had been hit by a vehicle that had drifted off the roadway, hit the bicyclist and then left the scene.
61-year-old Bruce L. Swihart was later apprehended for the alledged hit-and-run.
Frye suffered head injuries, contusions and bleeding on her legs.
