Patient Arrested After Throwing Urine Sample

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A Patient at a Bloomington hospital threw his plastic urinal at a security guard Saturday night, landing the patient in jail.

42-year-old Eric Sink was arrested shortly after the incident for battery by bodily waste, a Class D felony, and public intoxication.

Sink admitted himself into the hospital due to back pain when he allegedly became agitated with hospital staff when they asked him for a urine sample.

The man then urinated on the floor and cabinets before throwing the plastic urinal bottle.

Sink was booked into Monroe County.
