(CORTLAND, IN) - Jackson County egg farm Rose Acres made a donation of 1.3 million eggs to food banks across the nation this week.
Locally, donations were made to Bloomington-based Hoosier Hills Food Bank and Dare to Care Food Bank in Louisville, Ky. Greg Hinton, with Rose Acres says that "helping neighboring families in need is very important to egg farmers."
