(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University is establishing the Ryan White Legacy Scholarship in honor of the 13-year-old Hoosier who contracted HIV through tainted blood products given for his hemophilia.
The scholarship will be given to IU Bloomington students pursuing a master of public health degree in the school of health, physical education and recreation.
Thursday marks the 20th anniversary of White's death.
