(UNDATED) - Research shows that most teens who drink, are given alcohol from adults, and with prom and graduation coming up, Anheuser-Busch is stressing it's views on alcohol prevention.
Each year at this time, teens begin planning for some of the most memorable moments of their lives - proms and graduations.
To ensure these festivities are enjoyable and safe for everyone, parents and adults 21 and older are reminded not to provide alcohol to minors.
Kathy Casso with Anheuser-Busch released the following statement on Anheuser Busch's views on alcohol prevention among teens.
"While prom and graduation are special times, and we want our teens to enjoy them to the fullest, we also want to be sure they continue to make smart, responsible decisions, including not drinking alcohol when underage. Research shows that most teens who drink get their alcohol from adults. That's where we come in...as parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles, older brothers or sisters, older friends, cousins or neighbors...the message is this...we can help the ones we love make smart choices. If you're 21 or older and a minor asks you to buy alcohol or provide it to them, just say no. It's one of the most positive things you'll ever do."
