American Heart Association Challenging Hoosiers To Walk

(UNDATED) - The American Heart Association is challenging all Hoosiers to get up and walk for a mere 30 minutes during the day.

The organization used National Start Walking Day to promote walking as the easiest way to improve health.

Americans now work 164 more hours per year than 20 years ago, and our jobs have become increasingly more sedentary.

66% of Americans are considered overweight.
