(BEDFORD, IN) - A Mitchell woman was arrested after she attempted to sneak a small amount of marijuana into the jail, stored in a hair product container.
Police officials say that 55-year-old Vicki L. Gerkin of Mitchell was arrested.
The incident happened in December of 2009 with the product being discovered prior to it being giving to the inmates.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may come.
