(OOLITIC, IN) - An Oolitic toddler was flown to an area hospital Sunday evening after his parents claim he fell down a flight of stairs.
According to police reports, the 1-year-old suffered a fracture in its skull.
At first the parents took the child to Bedford Regional Medical to be examined despite thinking that the child was seriously injured.
Hospital officials then discovered the severity of the child's injuries.
A lifeline helicopter was called to the hospital.
Child Protective Services were also notified.
