State Police Investigating 2-Year-Old's Death

(LEAVENWORTH, IN) - Indiana State Police detectives and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office have launched an investigation into the death of a 2-year-old boy.

Police received a 9-1-1 call Monday evening with the caller stating that a 2-year-old child was having difficulty breathing and that he was being transported by a personal vehicle to the Leavenworth Fire House.

The child was flown from Leavenworth to Kosair's Children's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Master Trooper Detective Rick Magill headed the investigation into the boy's death.

The name of the child has not yet been released.
