Pawn Shop Owners Arrested For Theft Operation

(SEYMOUR, IN) - A Seymour man and his wife were arrested Monday following a two week theft investigation.

According to Seymour Police, 35-year-old Chris Wiese, the owner of a Seymour pawn shop and his wife, 32-year-old Amanda Wiese were arrested at the pawn shop for a theft operation involving a variety of stolen items.

Both have since been charged with four counts of receiving stolen property.

Police officials say that the two were working with a group of people, recruiting them to steal in return for 40 percent of the item's value in cash.
