Man Succumbs To Injuries Sustained In Earlier Car Wreck

(MITCHELL, IN) - The man who was critically injured in a two-vehicle car wreck Wednesday morning in front of Bedford Regional Medical Center has died.

Funeral arrangements have been made for Mitchell resident Henry Osborne at Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell.

Police officials say that the 78-year-old man pulled his vehicle from the parking lot of the hospital into the path of an oncoming car when the collision occurred.

He was then pulled from the wreckage by the Bedford Fire Department and flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis by helicopter.

The driver of the second vehicle, 26-year-old Megan Taylor and Osborne's wife Bettie were treated and released from Bedford Regional Medical Center.
