Cameron Kraese Announced Elementary Champion At WBIW Spelling Bee

(BEDFORD, IN) - The first round of the 36th Annual WBIW Lawrence County Spelling Bee took place Monday afternoon at Shaffer Auditorium.

11 students from Lawrence County's11 elementary schools competed for the title.

Cameron Kraese was announced the Champion of the elementary contest, followed closely by Shauna Fall as the two spelled for the title for over 20 minutes.

Cameron Kraese will now face the county's middle school students Tuesday at Shafer Auditorium.

The contest is open to the public and will be re-broadcast at 6:00PM on 1340AM, as well as streamed live online. (listen to the online stream)
