(NORTH VERNON, IN) - A woman was arrested Wednesday on drug charges after police say she hit a child with her car at a bus stop.
53-year-old Pamela Nicholas of North Vernon was arrested after deputies responded to a report that a woman struck a child at a bus stop at a mobile home park and sped away.
She was arrested on felony charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, leaving the scene of an accident and resisting law enforcement.
