(WASHINGTON, IN) - A Washington man was sentenced Tuesday for child molesting.
47-year-old James E. Gooding was sentenced to 64 years in prison for the crime.
Gooding will serve at least 40 years in state prison with the other 24 years of the sentence to be suspended with probation.
The man was originally charged with 13 counts related to child molesting.
According to reports, Gooding came to a police station on March 11th and said "he had done something bad and needed help."
The man admitted to inappropriate contact with underage girls on several occasions.
