(MITCHELL, IN) - The newly formed Mitchell Police Merit Board Commission is set to meet this Thursday at 3:00PM.
The meeting will take place in the Community Room of the Bloomfield State Bank.
Phillip Tincher who is a board member of the merit, says that the purpose of the meeting is to elect officers for 2010 and for the general organization.
The merit board will assist the police department with hiring, discipline and promotions.
