Vandals Damage Fire Department Headquarters

Last updated on Tuesday, January 5, 2010

(PAOLI, IN) - Fires reported in Paoli will have to be extinguished by other city departments not counting the Paoli Fire Department.

The fire department's building was broken into mid-last week. Computers, radios, firefighting equipment and other items were found to be damaged.

If a fire is reported, Orange County 911 dispatchers will dispatch the nearest fire department available, including the Orange County Southeast Volunteer fire department, West Baden Springs Volunteer Fire Department and Orleans Volunteer Fire Department.

Anyone with information about the break-in should call the Paoli Police Department at 723-2836.
