(LOOGOOTEE, IN) - Two intoxicated Loogootee women resisted arrest on Saturday.
According to the Indiana State Police, Trooper Steve Sexton stopped Garth Greenwell due to a traffic violation when two female passengers inside the vehicle began to verbally abusive Trooper Sexton.
After calling for assistance at the scene, Sexton attempted to handcuff Shonna R. Greenwell when the woman resisted and had to be taken to the ground.
The other female in the vehicle, Mindy Burris, also resisted arrest.
Burris and the driver of the vehicle were eventually arrested at the scene.
