Trial Date Set For Former Nashville Teacher

(NASHVILLE, IN) - A former substitute teacher in Nashville, accused of having inappropriate contact with a 17-year-old female student did not appear in Brown Circuit Court Tuesday morning as previously scheduled.

Vincent J. Gucciardo III is being accused of having a relationship with a student while employed as a substitute teacher at Brown County High School.

Brown County Prosecutor Jim Oliver said Tuesday morning that Gucciardo's attorney waived the initial hearing; Gucciardo's jury trial has been set for Wednesday, May 5th.
