SUV, Horse Buggy Collision Kills Two

(SALEM, IN) - Two Amish brothers from Salem were killed Saturday when their horse-drawn buggy was struck by an SUV.

Police say that 19-year-old Noah Wengerd and 7-year-old Menno Wengerd died at the scene after an SUVdriven by 31-year-old Jetta Mull of Salem, struck the buggy.

Both vehicles were westbound on Ind. 160 12 miles east of Salem, according to police reports.

Although the crash is still under investigation, the sheriff's office has declared that alcohol was not a factor.
