Some Indiana Counties Under Level 3 Warnings

Last updated on Thursday, January 7, 2010

(UNDATED) - By late morning, five of Indiana’s 92 counties had declared storm-related watches or warnings.

That's according to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.

Only Crawford County in southern Indiana and Fountain County in the west have declared level two warnings, meaning that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public.

Only essential travel is recommended. Marion, Delaware and Warren Counties are under level three watches.

That means routine travel or activities may be restricted in some areas.

Schools and businesses may begin to implement their emergency action plans.
