(VERSAILLES, IN) - Indiana State Police will be consolidating two southern Indiana posts.
The Seymour post will be consolidated into the Versailles State Police Post.
The Versailles post serves Dearborn, Decatur, Jefferson, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties.
After the consolidation troopers in the Versailles post will also cover Bartholomew, Jackson and Jennings County previously served by the Seymour post.
No troopers will lose their jobs.
