Morning Fire Under Investigation

(WASHINGTON, IN) - The cause of a Friday morning house fire on Washington's West End remains under investigation.

Police officials received a 9-1-1 call at around 10:00AM when police officer Barry Hudson noticed the flames while patrolling a neighborhood.

According to Washington Fire Battalion Chief Kevin Pride, the house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived nearly two minutes later.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the blaze.

No one was injured during the fire.
