(MITCHELL, IN) - During a recent Mitchell council meeting, council members unanimously approved the annexation of a portion of former councilman Everett Ferrel’s property to now be included inside the city limits.
Although Ferrel wasn't present at Thursday night's city council meeting, the four council members approved the annexation with little discussion.
Mitchell Mayor Dan Terrell originally stated that whether the council annexes his property, or not, that it doesn't get him back on the council.
