(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - Legislative leaders in both parties are crediting Governor Daniels with striking a conciliatory note in his state of the state address, but some partisan differences remain.
House Speaker Patrick Bauer calls the speech "the most positive (Daniels) has ever been about the general assembly."
But the speaker says he still would have preferred to hear specific proposals on creating new jobs.
