Former Girl Scout Camp Under New Ownership

(NASHVILLE, IN) - An environmental group has purchased 282 acres of forest that was once used as a campground for Girl Scouts.

The Nature Conservancy says that the organization has purchased the property in Brown County to protect the property.

The former Camp Belmont once used by Girl Scouts of Tulip Trace Council is located in the Brown County and will be protected by The Nature Conservancy before the property is transferred into public ownership.
