Last updated on Tuesday, January 19, 2010

(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - Two Greene County Sheriff’s deputies were transported to the hospital, suffering minor injuries Thursday, January 14th.

52-year-old Ricardo Marques suffered a mild concussion and cuts to his face; the man was unresponsive and had to be pulled from his vehicle.

24-year-old Bobby Pierce suffered pain to his neck and back.

The two police officers were on their way to a residence in the Hendricksville area after receiving reports of an unknown male, who appeared to have been beaten, passing out on a strangers porch.

As the two vehicles approached a curve, freezing dew on the road caused both drivers to lose control and leave the roadway.
