(BEDFORD, IN) - Beford City Utilities have issued a precautionary boil order for the 2300 block of Q St., the 1500 through 1700 blocks of 23rd St., and the 2200 block of P St., all around the Dunn Memorial Hospital campus.

Officials say that water will be shut off to repair a water main.

The boil order will remain in force until further notice.

Those in the area affected should bring all water to a boil and let it boil vigorously for two minutes.

Let water cool before using or use bottled water.

Boiled or bottle water should be used for all drinking, brushing of teeth, washing vegetables, washing dishes, making infant formula, all food preparation and consumption and the making of ice until further notice.

For more information, contact the Bedford City Utilities between 7:30AM and 4:15PM at 275-1626, or after hours at the Water Filtration Plant, 275-7173.
