Nursing Assistant Facing Theft Charges

(LINTON, IN) - A 21-year-old Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from Linton has been accused of stealing from a residence where she was working as a home health caregiver.

Mallory M. Frye is facing charges after reportedly stealing a 14-karat gold ring with three diamonds from a jewelry box.

According to police reports, the theft occurred between 6:00PM and 9:00PM on November 19th.

The owner of the ring reportedly confronted Frye about the missing ring and after that, she did not return to work.

Frye is now facing a preliminary charge of theft, a class D felony, she is scheduled to appear in court for an initial hearing on Friday.
