(LINTON, IN) - A Linton mother and her child suffered injuries after being attacked by a 43-year-old Linton Man. Audie R. Kristler, is set to appear in the Greene Circuit Court on Monday, facing charges connected to an incident in which Kristler allegedly battered a woman and a child who witnessed the incident and was trying to help his mother.
Kristler reportedly grabbed the woman by her by the hair and shoved her into a closet following a heated argument.
The incident later continued into a living room with the woman being forcibly shoved onto a glass coffee table in front of the juvenile as well as other witnesses.
When the scuffle moved into the kitchen, the juvenile attempted to help his mother and was shoved into a trash can by Kristler.
Preliminary charges filed against Kristler include three felonies; Domestic battery in the presence of a minor, a class D felony; battery resulting in bodily injury to a minor, another class D felony; intimidation, also a class D felony; and resisting law enforcement, a class A misdemeanor.
