Meteorologist: Winds Big Threat To Parts Of Indiana

(UNDATED) - Much of the country has been hit by a winter storm, dumping massive amounts of snow in some places.

But Indiana will miss the brunt.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Steve Haines says light rain will fall till around noon then turn into light snow, but he doesn't expect much precipitation.

Haines says the big threat to parts of Indiana will be high winds.

He says to expect winds from 40 miles per hour and some could top 50 mph.

He says temperatures will drop through the 30's into the 20's by the end of the day.
