(UNDATED) - A holiday giving initiative is underway to help support military families.
Through a $1.1 million dollar donation, the Operation Homefront Initiative will benefit families in all branches of the military.
Spouses of deployed military personnel can holiday shop for free at military bases through the program.
16,000 wreaths were also placed at national cemeteries across the United States to honor fallen veterans.
Indiana cemeteries were included in the wreaths across America program.
These cemeteries include Marion National Cemetery, Crown Hill National Cemetery, and New Albany National Cemetery in Indiana.
